A role can be expanded into a circle through governance, or turned back into a role in a similar way.
This article shows how to take a sub circle and turn it into a role, while simultaneously keeping a role within that circle and moving it up to its parent circle.
In this example we'll be turning the circle called "Website" into a role in its parent circle "Market Place":

In this example we'll be turning the circle called "Website" into a role in its parent circle "Market Place":
- In the Market Place circle, open a Governance meeting:
- Add an agenda item and in the "Add/Edit Role" section, select "Website" :
- Then tick the box "Move roles or policies into or out of this role" and make sure to select the roles to be moved in or out of Website (in our case Web Watcher and Website Designer):
- Accept the proposal and see the result in the organization.
