How do I assign or change a Circle Lead in a sub-circle?

Assigning Circle Leads follows the same process as assigning any other role, except for the Circle Lead of the anchor circle. To learn how to assign the Circle Lead of the anchor circle, please refer to this article.

The Circle Lead assignment for a sub-circle must be made from the parent circle. This is because a circle, from its parent circle's point of view, is just another role.

In the normal course of business, the Circle Lead of the parent circle would make the assignment. However, the Secretary of the parent circle also has the ability to do this in GlassFrog (but would normally only do it at the instruction of the Circle Lead). GlassFrog Admins also have the power to make role assignments like this (but also would normally only do it at the instruction of the Circle Lead).

Note: If you do not see the icons indicated below, you do not have permission to perform this type of action.

  • In the example below, "Market Place" is the sub-circle of the parent circle "GCC":

  • To assign a Circle Lead to "Market Place," go to your GCC circle, click on the Roles tab and within that page click on the person icon, to the right of the role "Market Place":

  • Enter the name of the member and click "Assign" to confirm.
