Circle Secretaries have a number of special "powers" in Holacracy and GlassFrog which other circle members don't have. Check out what a Secretary can do below.
1. Start a Governance meeting and capture its outputs.
- Adding Agenda items at the request of circle members, either in the field "Add item to triage" or through the "Add tensions for others" button.
- Entering informative text on the Scratchpad.
- Capture the tension of the tension holder and the proposal that logically follows.
2. Start a Tactical meeting capture its outputs.
- Adding Agenda items at the request of circle members, either in the field "Add item to triage" or through the "Add tensions for others" button.

3. Edit circle-based settings (accessed via the three vertical dots):
- Change the circle's Short Name (used on the GlassFrog organization chart).
- Add or update the circle's Auto-accept time limit for asynchronous proposals.
- Add or update circle-based email integrations.
- Manage the circle's custom section to highlight additional information for circle and organization members.
4. Add or change the circle's strategies (at the request of the Circle Lead/Lead Link).
5. Within the "Roles" tab, add or change role assignments (at the request of the Circle Lead/Lead Link), including adding a role focus, removing a core role-filler, or excluding the role from meetings (available in v4.1).
6. Within the "Members" tab, add a member to the circle (at the request of the Lead Link— only available in v4.1).
