Want to know what happens behind the scenes to project assignments when role-fillers change? We'll answer that with a series of cases that may apply to your situation:
- When an unassigned role gets a new role-filler, all projects belonging to that role are assigned to the person filling the role
- When a single-filled role is reassigned to a new role filler, all of the projects transfer to the new role-filler
- When a role-filler is removed, the projects assigned to the person leaving the role are unassigned. Once someone is added to the role they will inherit any of these unassigned projects.
